Big Creek Adventure – in Storuman Lapland
Ljusvattutjärns kennel is located just off the E45 south of Storuman near Skarvsjöby, in a place called Nybygget, beautifully situated next to Storbäcken (Big Creek in english). This is a kennel with many four-legged friends who are willing to offer nature experiences out of the ordinary in #storumanlapland. Here you have the possibility to try nature-related activities, both dog sledding and horse and carriage rides.
Dog sledding gives you a sense of nature that cannot be compared to other winter activities, you get close to the nature, quiet and with lots of four-legged friends who will do everything to take you safely through the winter landscape. You zoom along on the sled and hear the dogs eagerly and powerfully pulling the sled forward with a rhythmic trampling of the snow. Calm, focused and with tremendous speed and discipline.
At Ljusvattutjärns kennel you can choose between different long and short tours, with or without
refreshments and food, all adapted to what you as a visitor would like to experience. There is also the opportunity for those who dare to try their hand at driving. The owners, Ulf and Annica, run a small and personal business that welcomes only small groups, they believe it is important to have plenty of time for each guest.
