The Stensele fisheries management association is now taking new steps to increase the availability of, among other things, fishing license. Fishing today consists of a very good supply of pike, grayling whitefish and rainbow trout. Trout occurs in normal abundance. In 2006, to increase accessibility even for wheelchair users, we have completed a fishing spot suitable for disabled people with wind protection on the south side of the canal (see map)
