Ljusvattutjärns kennel is located near the E45 a bit south of Storuman, near Skarvsjöby, the place is called Nybygget and is beautifully situated next to the stream Storbäcken. Here is a kennel with many four-footed friends who like to offer nature experiences out of the ordinary in #storumanlapland. Here you have the opportunity to try out nature-related activities, both dog sledding and tours with horse and carriage.
Dog sledding gives you a feeling for nature that cannot be compared to other winter activities, you get close, silently and with many pawing friends who will do everything to get you through the winter landscape, safely and securely. You whizz along on the sledge and hear the dogs eagerly and powerfully pulling the vehicle forward with a rhythmic pawing against the snow. Calmly, focused and with tremendous speed and discipline.
At Ljusvattutjärns kennel you can choose between different long and short tours, with or without refreshments and food, all tailored to what you as a visitor wish to experience. There is also the possibility for those who dare, to try driving themselves. Ulf and Annica run a small-scale and personal business that welcomes small groups, they believe that it is important to have plenty of time for each guest. The easiest way to get here is by car, either your own or by renting one at one of our car rental workshops.
